JPF First Aid would like to introduce to you, Mental Health drop-in sessions that will be available over the next couple of months, where people can join us for a chat, talk about issues and worries or just to connect and feel supported. Tea/coffee will also be provided.
Where will the sessions take place?
There will be two sessions available being held at The Queslett in Sutton Coldfield. This will provide the opportunity for people to attend, where one of the sessions will take place on a Wednesday from 5pm until 7pm. The other session will take place on a Saturday between 10am and 12noon.
One of the sessions will be open to all, with the other session being provided for men only. Statistically men find it more difficult to talk about how they are feeling, which is why one of these sessions is being provided just for men only. Please see the available session dates below:
Open to All Sessions:
- Saturday 28th January 2023
- Saturday 18th February 2023,
- Wednesday 15th March 2023
- Saturday 22nd April 2023
Men Only Sessions:
- Wednesday 8th February 2023
- Saturday 25th March 2023
- Wednesday 5th April 2023
It is with the view that these monthly sessions will continue at The Queslett for the remainder of the year from May 2023. These drop-in sessions are a great way in supporting local communities allowing people to be able to talk to someone.
Will I be able to support at the sessions?
If you are a professional or charity who would like to support at these sessions, then please contact JPF First Aid by emailing – training@jpffirstaid.co.uk to register your interest. If you are not a professional or charity and feel you would like to help out, please use the above contact details to let us know.
Thank You: JPF First Aid would like to take this opportunity in thanking The Queslett, especially Manager Lily, for the support they are providing that have allowed these sessions to start within the local community.
